Fairtrade is a simple way to make a difference to the lives of the people in the developing world who grow and produce items for us.
  

Fairtrade sets social, economic and environmental standards for both companies and the farmers and workers including protection of workers’ rights and the environment, and payment of the Fairtrade Minimum Price and an additional Fairtrade Premium to invest in business or community projects of the community’s choice.

The Fairtrade mission is to connect disadvantaged farmers and workers with consumers, promote fairer trading conditions and empower farmers and workers to combat poverty, strengthen their position and take more control over their lives.
